Yeah much harder to hear on the second clip. Are you able to record a clip directly from the Axe II via USB? That would bypass any possible issues with the analog output section. Another thing you can try is to put an FX Loop block after the cab block and try using Output 2 instead. If Out 2...

I used MIDI for wah with my Axe II and then pedal via my FC-12 on my Axe III. No noticeable difference in feel or action. Dividing the pedal range into 128 segments is still pretty fine for something you control with your foot with only about 20 or so degrees of rotation. Try moving your wah...

Replicate to eliminate tone/volume knobs on guitar?

A lot of folks dislike the volume knob placement on a Strat. It's very close to the strings. Great for Jeff Beck style pinky volume swells, but it can sometimes get right in the way. Some folks rewire for a single master tone knob and move the volume knob to the position of the middle knob...

How to simulate Marshall Plexis w/ Loudness (w/o Gain & Master Volume)

Biggest difference is usually the monitoring volume. On most non-master volume amps, 2 or 3 on the volume is already crazy loud. Past about 5 or so it typically doesn't get much louder, but more compressed and dirty.

Can you tell what some amplifiers (modeling) are that use 85% of the 1Ghz dsp chipset of axe fxIII?

The amp blocks run on a dedicated core and are not reflected in the CPU meter at all. As far as the end user is concerned the amp blocks are free when it comes to CPU cost. If you're seeing presets spike to 80%, it's not because of the amp modeling (unless it's a bug).

Ah, in my test I had them in the same row. Sure enough moving the return block to another row added the 16 samples. I stand corrected. That said, 16 samples = 0.00033 seconds. That's the equivalent of moving about 4 inches further from your speakers. I seriously doubt anyone can feel that.
