Best method to use scene from another preset

What would be the best method to single tap a switch to grab a scene from another preset as if it was part of my immediate presets scenes?
Can this be done without changing the whole preset I am in at the moment?
I use the FC-6. I have a separate switch that ups and downs through my presets (songs in my case).
 
You will switch out of the preset and then have to switch back to the other. I will leave a spot for a Per Preset switch on my main layout and then it to jump back and forth to that specific scene. The Preset category lets you jump to a specific Preset, but the Scene you want to go to will need to be the default scene.
 
It would be nice if we could simply put scenes from any preset wherever we like.
Copying a scene to another preset seems a no brainer, to me at least.

Copying a scene as a new preset doesn't even seem to be a thing. Without finding a workaround, that is.
 
If you want to copy the tone, you have to copy the relevant blocks and channels. Scenes only specify the bypass state and current channel of each block plus a few other things like scene controllers and OUT level.
