I would have moved this thread to the lounge too, I was actually annoyed that you didn't originally but I digress. Good thread but definitely belongs in the lounge, you could make that argument about any random pedal or looper using it with the axe.

I get why some people gripe but I don't mind starting from scratch and tone tweaking at all. I think it's fun! Out of all the firmware updates maybe a couple of times it sounded (worse-subjective), but then another update came out and it sounded better than ever. And even of those few times...

That was just such a dumb question from the OP and the answer is so obvious. The updates will stop when there's no hardware left, like the ultra - there was no more space left. And to the second part of the question, there's no obligation to update in the first place. The OP is a troll and...

Q7 and the new toys (motor drive, compressors, etc) - expectations for live gigging

What do you guys adjust besides motor drive, do you turn up air freq as well? That's usually set at 0. I like turning that up and motor drive, what other adjustments do you guys tinker with as well? Thanks

Cliff, Get rid of the older firmware modeling options to free up space!!

I just want the firmware if there's a noticeable change in the firmware's sound. So I would definitely welcome Cliff freeing up some extra space in whatever capacity he sees fit and if possible. Edit: Every Firmware update that has changed the sound for me, I've always found extremely pleasing...

I did read the release notes which is why my questions were based on the release notes. Like I said, my last presets used q3.xx and now they're using latest. I thought, based on the release notes, that I'd have to switch to "latest" to be using the firmware. Also, can I use the latest firmware...
