Alto TS115A and AxeFX II PSA

Im not familiar with the Hagen, but does it have the 1/4" switch jacks on the back like Mesas? If so you can get something like a GCX switcher to control the pedal and amp channels via midi. If the amp is Midi only then you'll probably need like an RJM Effects Gizmo to get the Maxon controlled...

WHAT IS THE BEST HOME SETUP FOR THE FX II

To me, headphones arwnt ideal for the axe fx or any modeller. You need speakers in the room for proper sustain. Plus the bottom end gets too flubby too easy on almost all the amp models with most headphones. Because pf this Im looking upgrade my headphones to an Alto powered PA wedge or two...

the problem being, I cant isolate each problem fully. for example with the midi. I only have the one midi cable and controller, and dont have access to spares. I know I can manually change patches with the front face buttons, and I know the lights are changing on the FCB when I press the button...

No Longer a Virgin-First Show With The AXE-FX2

I had my first axe fx II gig this weekend too. My rig was much more limited using only a line 6 spider III 75w to monitor and a berhinger fcb1010 and a couple 10ft cables :? But yea I loved my sound too and the monitors at the venue were so good that I barely used the line 6 amp :D

MP3 playback via USB - I am thick and cannot get working. HELP PLEASE!

If youre running windows, and have the genelecs hooked up to the axe, change the audio playback sources so that the default audio playback source if the axe fx ii speakers (if drivers are installed properly, the axe fx ii should show up as a sound card) so just make sure all audio plays back on...

Preset #75 latency??? WTf??

Its not a perfect feature just by design. Its way more than 1ms of latency on mine but Ive tweaked the pitch shifter down to no noticable latency. At one point I got this wierd flange/chorus noise from it but somehow tweaked it out. Doesnt work on all patches, only super high gaun ones and...

Well the boost is one of the first things I did but It just seemed to tighten up the bottom end too much (stock 808 settings) I dont know Ill play with it more tonight and Ill usethe patches posted, hopefully i can figure this out

Will the axe fx ii fit in a "standard" backpack?

SKB makes a 2u soft bag thats deeper than the gator bag, has a wooden shell and cost me 120$ new. I highly reccomend it. It also has a normal handle as well as a shoulder strap. Has plenty of room for the axe fx to breathe too and is all around great

Actually i got that wierd effect i mentioned out. The latency isnt too bad actually, hardly noticable for the time being :) Just needs ALOT of tweaking (doesnt that sound familiar? :lol ) Its deff not a selling point but whem properly tweaked its very useable IMO

Should I trade in my mesa cab for a k12

Interesting that tthe K12s are not preferred for the axe fx. What about the JBL PRX612M? My local store has that and the previously mwntioned EV ELX112P. The EV is 600$ taxes in and the JBL is 800$ taxes in.

Ok thanks guys, I took a quick look at that patch and figured out how to do it on my patches and ive got it working 99% (theres a very slight delay i cant removed but i hardly notice unless im playing faster stuff on high string :)
