Anyone own a Schecter? I just bought my first one and I'm not impressed.

The damage looked to me like it left the factory in that condition. If so, it was missed by everyone along the way. Hopefully they will go over the replacement thoroughly. It would be truly embarrassing to find a problem with the next one.

The seller forwarded the photos to Schecter and they offered to send a replacement. Keeping my fingers crossed. I was basically just looking for a decent quality instrument with a factory piezo, but most of what I have found is way over my present budget.

This is a brand new C-1 E/A ($850 retail). See attached photos. You can't NOT see this defect every time you pick it up to play. As soon as I saw this I put it back in the box and requested a refund.

I'm going to try the Neotech Harness. I don't have high expectations, but my curiosity insists I try it. It looks gimmicky, it's expensive, and it probably won't fit well, but then again it might work. I can always return it and try something else. Lots of great suggestions here. :)

I recently purchased a new MIM strat online. It has a very noticeable 1/32" gap between the neck and left side of the body. The seam on the opposite side looks okay and it plays and sounds fine but the gap is annoying. I would expect to see build quality like this on a $200 instrument, but not...

My OCD compels me to ask: For user cab #28 MR 1960AX-G12M25 mix 02, did you use the raw or MPT IRs? The file names are the same so there's no way to tell from the screenshot. I have to add these are the best presets I have ever used. Outstanding!

A word of warning if it hasn't already been mentioned elsewhere: The WAV files in the purchased package are 44.1k. Cab-Lab can covert them as-is, but they will not sound the same, so be sure to convert them to 48k first. The RAW mix files are stereo, so you will also need to convert them to mono.

For anyone else curious about the Logidy pedal, it can store 1000 cab IRs on one SD card, but they must be 44.1kHz WAV files (mono or stereo), and they can be up to 1500 ms/64k samples in length.

On the OH website in the File Formats section for each library it says, "Ultra-Res files can also be converted manually using the .wav files in this collection via the FAS Cab Lab Utility." I verified in Sound Forge Pro that the WAV files are now longer (500ms.)

What a great time to jump back in...

I had to sell my Axe-Fx II last year for school tuition. Regretted it immediately. Saved up over the following year a finally bought another one last month. This one is going to my grave with me!

Yes, I was having problems finding a reliable and free web host, so the file location changed a few times. The web host I have now seems to be working well. How would I change an older post? I don't see any edit function.
