    32.03 plays/feels fantastic

Back to the OP, I wonder how many times we've said "it can't get any better," and then it does. This firmware is amazing...While I prefer my FM9 for gigging because it's easier to transport, I'm gladly gigging with the AxeFX because I am enjoying the sounds I'm getting more than ever...again. I...

    Axe-Fx III Firmware 32.02 Release

FWIW, I've just pulled presets from my FM9@fw11 into my AxeFX and did my first gig with it. It doesn't happen often, but our sound man noticed and mentioned how the guitar sounded amazing last night!!!

Its not a beta, tho it has kinda behaved as such for some of us ;) Glad I have an AxeFX to lean on for now...just copied my FM9 presets in and got them tweaked out. Gonna let the FM9 sit out until there's another update.

I've just done it using the import in AxeEdit. Thought I used to be able to do that with FractalBot, but at least I can still do it this way. Sorry for the stupid post!!!

I used to be able to copy presets from my FM9 to the AxeFXIII and vice versa. It appears we can no longer do that? Any workarounds?

    FM9 Firmware Version 11.0

Another problem last night on a gig...stepped on the switch for scene 2 in a preset and no output. Had to reboot to get sound again. No bueno. think I'm heading back to FW10, unless anyone has suggestions. This is two weird issues in three days.

    FM9 Firmware Version 11.0

I think this has been reported...maybe for a previous FW: last night I set up for rehearsal and ran Out 2 to the board for our IEMs. There was a LOT of noise and barely discernible signal from my guitar. Rebooted and problem went away. Any others? Any thoughts?

    FM9 Firmware Version 11.0

Great to hear, especially coming from you, Scott! My experience with FW11 has been the same (similar CPU and working flawlessly). I was reluctant because of conversations in here about problems, but decided to just dive in because I had a week off. I've been using it for a little over a month...

    anything inside FM9 to "re-seat?"

I'm wondering if there are any ribbon cables or whatever inside the FM9 I should check to make sure they are seated well. I feel like I've heard that advice somewhere in here before. In ear monitoring

There are lots of ways to make IEMs work for you, and everyone's situations/preferences are different. I think it also requires trial/error and patience. It took us a few months...maybe even a year...to really figure it out. We started out with ambient mics and trying to get "studio sound"...

    In ear monitoring

It seems the reverse of that everyone else is doing, but somehow I've gotten into the habit of using Out 2 to FOH and Out 1 for IEM. Guitar to ears is stereo with an Enhancer block just in Out 1. I have a Shure P4M mixer that allows me to push the band mix a little to the left and guitar a...

Plexi lovers... What other amps do you enjoy?

Plexi 2204 is a new go-to for me. It reminds me of the clean channel in my first JCM800...a 4010 I think I bought in 82. As I understand it, the Fractal model is an 81 JMP 2204. It has replaced the SLP I was using. I don't remember seeing any conversation about it...anyone else using it?

    FM9 Firmware Version 10.0

Gigged with FW 10 this weekend. Digging the Digital Capo improvements! Probably not news to most but I haven't seen conversation about dialing it in. Just discovered the Plexis...what's next?

The preset I use for 95% of any gig (classic rock or country gigs) is JTM45 for clean and edge sounds, 1959 SLP jumped for crunch, and Friedman BE V2 for high gain and solos. For any of those, I use the Klon, usually with gain very low to goose them. I'm using DynaCabs: 4x12 Citrus/Dynamic 1 and...

    Difference in amps between FM9 (FW8) and AF3 (FW27)?

It looks like FW8 for the FM9 and FW 27 for the AF3 are the same. I suppose I should just copy the presets from my AF3 into the FM9 and see how they sound.

    Difference in amps between FM9 (FW8) and AF3 (FW27)?

Regarding amps, is there something markedly different between the FM9's last final release (8.0, I think?) and AF3 FW27? I upgraded to FW27 when it came out, and things are sounding otherworldly. Thus my FM9 has been relegated to a dusty corner ever since. Apologies if this is just laziness on...

Slight difference, same presets in FM9 and AxeFXIII

My AxeFXIII is at FW26. I recently upgraded my FM9 to FW8b1. I notice a very minor difference in presence, favoring the AxeFX. This is with the same presets/scenes, generally one is a 2203 and the other a JTM45. Anybody else notice this? FWIW, it's subtle enough that I didn't notice it until...

Updated to FW 8 beta 1. LOVE IT! I kept reading all the glowing reports, mostly in the AxeFXIII section, so I updated my AxeFX to FW26 and copied my FM9 presets into it. Thanks for checking that. As @unix-guy mentioned, my preset was at 81%. On my next break, I'll try again...I've decided to drop my stereo presets and am going back to a less complex rig....hopefully that will give me all benefits and no costs!

Update: Call me lazy...returned to FW 6 (now FW8!)

Yes, but I don't use them at once...sounds like that's what you're doing...just switching between them. If they are on the same channel, the gap is really minimal. Be sure to set Bypass Mode to Mute for both amps.
