Thanks, Harry. Did you actually want a plain backing track? If so, I can take a look and see if it isn't too odd. Ironically, this is one of the rare times where the melody comes first for me, so all the relative maj/min chords and counterpoint ac gtr in B came second and third.

Thank you, I love how much definition and articulation there is in the Axe II XL+ in these hard to nail mid gain tones. I did a remix last night and was excited at how much tone is in there to work with without worrying about reamping as well.

I had to make another....

That's such a fantastic, unified low end! It is really impresive how your bass, guitar and kick glue together in this mix. Which kits do you prefer in Superior 2 for this type of tone, or do you just build your own? This really inspires me to work harder in this area. Thanks!

Thanks guys, given that clean and low gain sounds like this are usually the hardest to get modelers to do properly, I'm happy to hear this taking me to my happy place that usually involves the Xxactone Presicion OD pedal hitting a cranked Egnater BMan.

Ok, nothing too extraordinary about this clip, but this one thing I love about the Axe - a TV publisher I work with likes the drums a bit hotter than I normally want to mix them, so I often get frustrated that the guitar looses it’s edge a little since I like stuff pretty brown and old school...
