Southern-fried Ultra Version 9 Demo and Preset

Southern-fried Ultra Version 9 Demo and Preset

Just uploaded the version 9 and like what I feel is a noticeable improvement in dual amp patch I made using the X99 for the rhythm side and the USA Lead. If you want to try this preset out, just make sure you have a footswitch or pedal hooked up to Exp 1 as that is what fades it back and forth between the rhythm or lead parallel path. Anyway, here is a swampy little demo showing both sounds. The guitars are my Ernie Ball Morse and Suhr Classic T. I think my favorite tone is the bridge PAF lead tone for some fills and the quick solo at the end. Cliff is a clazy man…just plain clazy!

Fabulous tone, John - again! Thanks for making the preset available. Question - did you use any custom IRs?

I was wondering when you'd make an appearance with the new Firmware.
Sounds great, John!!

Always dig your playing!

Thanks guys, hope you have fun with the A/B preset too if those tones are your cup o tea.

No, I haven't tried any yet. I'm kinda slow. :)

Scott, I'll see you in one of your threads...and maybe at NAMM too. I'm really turnin' and burnin' for the triathlon season this spring so I may have to pass this year. Lots of time and drinking away from my bike, the pool and the road, but I know I'll cave in at the last minute as always...

JC returns and tears it up and down again. Ahhh. Massive tune/tone/playing. That's the stuff. Sounds KILLER. Great groove and huge sounding mix to boot. That was fun.

Please tell me you posted this on TGP, please.

Scott, thanks for the good vibes. I did put the post down in the gear demo area, but not really much of a song for the tune area. Hey, your IR clip is very illuminating. I need to learn about them thangs! pm sent.

Thanks, moretega! I'm sure I'll feel the call. :)
