    ...the simplest way to set it up and the typical method I use. I only go to MUX or MIXER when I want to regulate what's returned by the loop (i.e. I have a Freqout in loop4 where I use a mixer to regulate the level of the loop's return signal into the main path with a modifier/expression pedal).

    The Freqout is an awesome pedal. But the OP's additionally asking about shifting positions to get different notes and unfortunately it doesn't allow that. A great opportunity for the Freqout 2 would be to add an expression pedal input or some type of double tap mode to oscillate between 2 notes.

    Chaos type pedals like the Great Destroyer and some of the ZVex fuzz stuff are tough to pull off in the Axe FX. Sometimes there's no substitute for the weird chaos and noise of a self oscillating analog circuit.

    How are you attaching your FM9 to your pedal board?

    I don't. I have the FM9 in a Pelican case, take it out and plop it down on the floor at the gigs. I have a 'satellite' board on a small pedaltrain, with my Drop, ABY, Shure wireless and FreqOut.

    You use 8 expression pedals? Makes me want to see pics of your rig.

    Wish Feedback Block utilizing an output/input.

    If you search for Freqout, you’ll find plenty of feedback presets, some of them quite good.
