(re)Creating the feedback you can get from standing in front of a cranked amp?

The Freqout is an awesome pedal. But the OP's additionally asking about shifting positions to get different notes and unfortunately it doesn't allow that. A great opportunity for the Freqout 2 would be to add an expression pedal input or some type of double tap mode to oscillate between 2 notes.

Now that I think about this…. I could use a Mission pedal to increase the [insert proper parameters] to get what I’m going for then back off the changes when the melody comes in, right?

attaching a cc pedal to the shift parameter will allow you to change the feedback pitch. if you only have one cc pedal,, then change the preset, so that a stand in latching switch turns the effect on and off

That's exactly (edit: almost, I didn't use the pitch follower) what I suggested. I couldn't remember where I picked it up, but it makes sense it was from you!

I never liked the synth block approach - too glitchy!

Yup!! That's the one!! I d/l'd the 2 early posts (Freqout and LC ODS) and both have some great possibilities. It's literally been 4 minutes since I imported the presets, but I'm having fun with them already lol
