    Wish Mesa / Boogie Badlander

    I agree regarding the badlander. I didn’t really jive with the tc100 i had. I liked channel 2 the most in that amp. The badlander doesn’t need a boost, imo. It’s tight, but lacking in the low end. But i prefer it way more than the tc100.

    I have both the Badlander and the JP2-C. The badlander doesn't need an OD and higain is very tight, but lacking in low end. I have the 50w version and I have the bass on max. I think it's perfect in a band setting. I'm hoping we get it in the AxeFx coz I like it a ton more than the Mesa TC100 I had.

    Play with your guitar volume knob. Most overdriven amps can get u a nice clean sound with the volume knob rolled off.

    I was actually looking to buy a gibson coz the older i get the more i like it, it’s just iconic. But when i tried to look for a used one, i’ve seen a lot of hair crack on the same obvious spot on these guitars. Not to mention the qc especially the binding part.

    The issue still remains. I wouldn’t pay 3k+ for a guitar and worry about dropping it or put 10’s tuned standard and worry about the neck splitting. That’s just me.

    I don’t use it, it’s closer to my CLR with it off. I’ll do further testing this weekend.

    I have one and the sound is really close compared to my CLR with D-contour off. Although the CLR has better dispersion and a tad louder compared to the Dhr12m. I’ll be using it this weekend in a full band setting, so we’ll see how it holds up. Overall, it’s a great monitor especially for the price!

    Rick is a great player for sure but to me, he’s tone has always been too bright.
