I think the last fw dynacabs were already 1.06

If you are upgrading from a firmware version prior to 26.00 you will need to install the new DynaCab data pack:
https://www.fractalaudio.com/downloads/firmware-presets/axe-fx-3/DynaCab/dyna_cabs_1p06.zip

Do the dynacabs need to be updqated from the last update? I don't remember whether the last one was 1.06

If you already have V26, no need to update the DynaCabs. Anything pre V26, yes, you need to update.

I am super happy with V26 and will wait for a new official release before updating, but I'd sure love to hear what others are experiencing when it comes to the Drive Block.
