About Amp Loudness and Amp Block Output Levels

Another factor too if I recall is that depending on which amp model is being used the master affects the tone at pre-power amp breakup. Depending on its setting it could raise or lower the overall volume as well so the amp level is used to compensate & sets the final output vol in the block.

Need quick guide to normalize different backing tracks to play live

Normalization doesn't quite work for me. Normalizing Backing Tracks doesn't necessarily fix apparent loudness variation.. Even within the same genres. What I do that is pretty consistent in my overall loudness is to choose a main reference track. I use "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick...

Just had a "eureka" moment with PAF pickups

How do you deal with the single coil hum/noise? That’s a deal breaker for me unless hum canceling. How Yngwie manages to get that single coil vibe with those him canceling HS pups is a wonder! But to me falls a hair short of that SUV single coil vibe if called for.

Whew! Thank you for clarifying! 🙏🏻 I reset it to 0.00 and was re-treaking presets & finding I needed to set gain and input trim settings past 3 o’clock on presets!

note: Intro guitar is mixed and toned differently from when guitar comes with the instruments. Most players just come in with the same tone all the way except for the leads. With the Axe all the tones can of course be covered with scenes.
