    Global Input Impedance?

No there isn't. Just an FYI, unless you have an effect block active at the front of the chain that changes the impedance, it will use 1m (edit for correctness). it works like a much like the real effects would.

One change I mentioned earlier, the RCB drive changed. It is now ~3db quieter. not sure what changed with the chorus and flange. My guess is the depth range was reduced.

Just a note for those the use the Esoteric RCB, to get the volume level back to what it was prior to 15, increase level by ~3db I think this was done to get the levels closer to the real pedal. BTW the included UltraRes cabs are outstanding.

    Recording question regarding dry signal

You can scale the waveform view in cubase so you can see it better. If you are recording a guitar level signal from the Axe-fx USB, you're not going clip. The axe-fx just passes the unity gain signal from the guitar, thru the axe-fx, to the DAW, The A/D conversion is optimized with Axe-fx, then...

    Flanger

I wouldn't like that at all, not at alll. Depth is the maximum amount of delay time width. Some sort of scaling parameter would work w/o changing existing presets. It could be min, normal, max which would limit the max delay time. you could then have an excursion time of 0-5 ms, 0-10ms, or (as...

Just be aware with the 2:90 that even though you are not probably driving the power amp into saturation, it does color the tone especially in the deep mode. You will want to compensate for that. Like everyone suggested best to start from scratch. Try it both ways, see which one works for you.

    Flanger

Short delay times are ,of course , more traditional sounding, but sometime strange is cool. Like I said, delay does more than fine in these cases. It is actually quite amazing, especially since you added the negative feedback.
  45. javajunkie

    Flanger

Depth is the range of minimum delay to maximum delay that is modulated. If you turn depth to 0 you get a static very short delay. That is how you get the Filter Matrix sound of the EHX Flanger. Mix is the amount of wet and dry signal.
  46. javajunkie

    Flanger

Yep, I know where flanging originated. I can't think of a pedal flanger that does not offer feedback today though. Ahhh, I did not remember that was the minimum time. Still for the max delay range of the A/DA .4-14ms you would need to use the delay. Which works extremely well for that.
  47. javajunkie

    Flanger

Also drive before the phaser or flanger can sometime bring out the effect more. I'll often time put them after the amp/cab.

I don't recall but I may have used a delay for that. The delay can make an excellent flanger. The key to flanging is delay time, placement, and feedback. A small change in delay time can make a huge difference. also, I always turn off auto depth and adjust rate/depth manually.
