Question About MIDI and IA's

So, I've been using javajunkie's Strymon BigSky emulation approach using a Multidelay, Chorus, and Reverb. I changed the CC for Multidelay to 47, which is the same as the regular Delay because I would never need both in one preset, and if I did, I could reverse the controller slope so that one is off and one is on... I digress. I decided to just assign the bypass to all 3 blocks to External 1, which I have setup on my foot controller, so that if I want to turn on the 'BigSky' it only takes one footswitch. The dilemma now is that the IA's that are setup for the individual blocks don't read their state when I use the External 1 approach. It's not a huge deal, but my question is it possible for the bypass states to be read in this manner?

So the bypass state displayed on the controller is tied to the CC value and isn't an actual concurrent display of the state of the block?

That would be nice. I want this to happen. Is it possible?

When you use the bypass modifier, it overrides any other bypass CCs.
