Anyone using an FCB1010 w/EurekaProm 3.2?

I don't experience/notice any latency on my FCB1010 with EP 3.2. For the price, the combination of these 2 is really hard to beat. Lots of ways to easily customize your setup without even needing a software editor.

Bug? Ares 1.00 Porta-Bass Causes Axe FX II XL to Freeze

Problem previously reported in Ares 1 beta thread by another user. Confirmed that when Porta-Bass amp is selected on Axe FX II XL, a high pitch is heard and unit freezes. A reboot clears the problem.

If you don't like the feel of the expression pedals on the FCB, you can add up to 2 additional ones directly to the Axe FX and use those for wah and perhaps volume, where the feel of the sweep might be more important.

I believe so. The 3.2 update mostly added features for the XL and XL + (fixed 2 way communication and added access to 768 presets). The features for the Axe fx standard and ultra was carried over from previous versions.

Can the Behringer fcb1010 buttons be used as momentary switches for External Controllers?

The EurekaProm 3.2 allows you to program all of the 10 switches for either momentary or latching and assign to any cc#. If you assign them to the modifier cc numbers then they can be used for different functions per preset.

Right. In option one I was thinking of assigning modifiers to the mix parameter of each pitch block, so that would probably be similar to using the mixer without adding another block--not sure which would be smoother, but I'll give both a shot later.

How to use expression pedal to pan between two pitch blocks?

One way: In the modifier screen, set the min position for pitch 1 at 0% and the max position at 100%, for pitch 2, set the min position at 100% and the max position at 0%. Another way: Put Pitch 1 and Pitch 2 on separate rows and use a pan pedal to pan between to the two signal chains.

Using Pitch Block

If the only intervals are -4 and -5, setting up a custom scale might be the easiest option and would alleviate the need to do any switching or pedalling during the solo. Just play each note in the solo and input the corresponding interval (-4 or -5) for that note in the custom scale setting.
