Global Amp

That’s a great idea. A global block library in ax8 edit with a new option to update all presents using that block while saving. I always save my amps in ax8 edit but then I have to load them in each preset using the amp. An automatic update would be great!

A question for those with lots of live Fractal experience...

In a live situation I would suggest to use a few amps (I usually use 2 or 3 amps) and just one ir cab... Levels are important but also ir eq... if you use irs with different eq response (mainly in low end) the sound guy will get crazy or you will have a bad tone in some songs...

Thanks, this is a great app. I use it live in Setlist mode. I would suggest to include a setup for scrolling list up and down with a single button like setlist manager in onsong. Now you have to scroll down and press enter and if you use a pedal to scroll the list this is not very easy to do...

I know AX8 has some limitations in comparison with AXE FX II but I had the FXII and decided to buy the AX8 because of portability. I read all the differences... but I couldn't know of this big problem. Lag is about one second... maybe more on some presets... CPU is around 80% I have this problem...

For those who use an amp + cab and IR direct to PA when playing live

If you use different IR for different patches the guy at the console will get crazy... it's impossible to match the response on bass and treble and the result is unpredictable... This is my experience...

Any regrets coming from a AXE FX II?

The extra chipset is not a big issue if you don't need very complicated patches and routing... I miss a lot global blocks... in particular for amp block. Because live I use a couple of amps in a lot of patches and when I edit the amp block I have to replicate my modification in every patch.

A minimal audio gap is normal... Axe fx has a minimal gap but it's not a problem. Ax8 has a longer gap... Also in scene change and also using the same amp.. Just adding delay, drive and modifying volume... I don't know if it depends on high court use.. I will make some tests.. But it's...

Yes! Very nice idea. I completely agree with you. The amount of solo boost is different in different venue and also depends on the mixer and frfr system. In axe fx II I use to put a global volume block at the end of all my patches and to activate it for solo.. Being global it's easy to tweak on...

FIXED! It's a BUG. If you select MFC theme you get this problem... With Fractal theme everything it's ok

Save as don't working

Help please... Save as option doesn't work anymore! And I think that also save command doesn't work... Yesterday I made a sysex dump, then I made some editing and I saved the file as it was. Opening the file I noticed that all my editing was lost so I tryed to make a new song and to save it No...

Matrix = sterile for me... need a tube power amp? Help !

Mesa 20 20 ! Much better then the matrix (i bought it and sell it after 15 days) and not very heavy... I've also been using a peavey 50 50 Classic.. Very good and transparent buy heavyer then the mesa

MFC Edit License problem

Ok uninstalled, deleted all entries in registry, reinstalled, and Now it works :-)

MFC Edit License problem

No way... it doesn't work I 've copied the file but it still says i dont' have a license I cannot type my name and license key because i cant see the text fileds to type in ...

I''ve just bought and installed MFC edit but i did not receive any license file. When I run the program It says my trial period has expired and that i need to copy license file in program directory... Where should I download license file? My login mail is luca@minuticontati.it Thanks

Fw 18.04 and sustain

Ok, tonight i Will give a new try... Maybe I was too tried... I installed new firmware and I Made a turn on new updated factory presets and I noticed a general Lack of sustain...

I've noticed less sustain in fw 18.04 in comparison with 18.01 I did not test fw 18.03 Nobody has the same feeling?

connecting to jcm2000 tsl temporarily

You must Connect to fx return and not main input so yuo bypass pre and go to amp. You cannot use 4 cable metod with that amp.. I tried but it Was a mass.. Noisy and low output level..
