So I just went from 24.05 to 25.01 and loving it! I thought I remembered reading something in the beta thread about the save light coming on in all presets but there was some fix for that in another beta? That's what I'm getting now. What was the resolve on that? Maybe a system setting?

Same here. Screwed around for about an hour with just standard impulses. Couldn’t get any kind of monitoring to work. Not rocket science but figured I’m just missing something stupid 🤷‍♂️ Maybe being on beta firmware?

Maybe I missed it, I don't see it mentioned if you're using a cab block. I run a GT1000 into a couple EVM-12L's with no cab block and just have to cut maybe a little of the mids.

I've had a quad of 12L's since the 80's when I bought them. They've been in a few different cabs since then. I built these 2x12 cabs a few years back. I can't really turn them up the way I'd like to anymore, but they still sound killer.

I notice that when I pin any picker window and use the up/down arrow keys to select, I now have to also hit enter for it be selected. Is this new behavior by design? It was nice especially when auditioning cabs to just hit the arrow keys and it would select instantly. A little cumbersome now...

Agreed...and the reason for my hearing damage 😐 I had a 2101 running into a 2:90 and a 4x12 with EVM-12L’s. That power amp and cabinet were probably 70% of my tone.

Exactly what I’m experiencing right now. It’s very sporadic but just started happening last night. No changes lately. Tried unplugging the USB cable also, still happened. 12.07 on the Axe and 1.11 on the FC-12.

I was thinking maybe it has to do with global blocks and searched for a way to clear them but I don’t believe that is possible. I found a procedure for clearing them on a II but not the III. Seems all you can do is overwrite them.

Yes I am doing that. It doesn't even get past the initial boot screen. My only other thought would be first restoring a system backup from 3.01, then sending the 3.01 firmware. But there is a warning about "ensure the the target system has the same firmware version the backup was created from"...

I have a nice cable I bought for my audio desk and never had any problems before this update. Still not much of Win10 fan anyway. I've given it a chance just so I'm not that old guy not giving something new a chance, but I still prefer the simplicity, control, and stability in Win7.

I actually had this issue by just rolling back firmware before. I block I created in newer firmware was not compatible with the older firmware. I'd get an error about it when opening AE. I don't remember what the block was, but I think it had been updated in the newer firmware.

Just a thought. I, like many others, tend to start going with settings I'm used to using. It's that whole 'dial with your ears thing' I have to keep telling myself.

If the noise fades in and out as you move, it is almost certainly EMI noise. Another user reported this same type of issue recently. Are you using a drive that has been G3'd? The drive (output level actually) on those I believe has increased. I've noticed having to turn down the level on the...

Lots of noise all of a sudden *****

If it's coming and going as you turn different angles as you said, it's most likely EMI noise. The new G3'd drive blocks have more output as was mentioned which could cause it, but sounds like it was happening before updating to FW19.

Still have my original V220 I bought... 32 years ago. Good grief has it been that long... Still a great playing guitar but stays in the case most of time.

AXE-EDIT : blanks instead of <EMPTY>?

I've only seen that when I rolled back to a firmware that the patches weren't compatible with (18>16). I believe all I had to do was open Axe Manage and highlight the <EMPTY> patches and hit delete.
