could not get the Morningstar to listen to the FM3 yet... have found a workaround with 4 fixed scenes in one row and effect toggles in the other row... I don't have a visual on the Morningstar about the toggle status but I can live that...

Hi guys sorry for the late reply. It’s a simple gator case I had bought for my AX8. The board is a custom cut piece of hard plastic. I put Velcro tape on top and some rubber feet on the bottom. The ocd switches are working great too.

Why did Atomic amps discontinue the 50/50 power amp?

hi all, quick report. After getting the Atomic 50/50 I'm pretty happy. It's very clean and doesn't color tone too much... Drives the speaker better than a solid state amp would. Can't A/B it but I remember being unhappy with the Matrix and a real cab. So as a Mesa or Marshall power amp is too...

I am using 2 bogner 1x12 cubes with V30's... stellar sounding cabs for high gain but also combo-ish clean sounds... bogner designed them to sound like 4x12's. lot's of volume and bass... the suhr 1x12 and custom audio 1x12 are both almost identical. the size is perfect for a transportable stereo...

I have great results with my Shin Fuzz in front of the Shiva Clean and Fender Bassman. Get your point on the analogue element... I'm sure it's pure psychology though. I bet noone could tell the difference. Glad my two handy and my ears are still 100% analogue... That's probably a firmware update...

I run the Axe with a pair of Bogner 1x12 V30's and Matrix 1000 and it's absolutely awesome. Choosing a great cab and stick to it made my guitar life easier.... (and sound much better than FRFR).

Hey bro, did you try changing the battery? If it's a weak or bad battery, the output of the EMG's can be distorted. Had this before with my Luke... On cheap batteries this slowly increases so you only realize it gradually.

thanks for your comments! I think I tend to agree with kmanick... a real cab feels different... And I have to say, yes I played the old atomics and wanted to believe they sound great. Until I had the Mesa in the room again... So maybe the answer I am looking for by some Q12 owners is: YES...

Best monitors for 350 each?

I got the 20/20's and I like them. Good bang for the buck. I read somewhere that some presets in older FW versions were done on a pair 20/20s. Don't know if its true though.
