Best studio monitors for the Axe FX?

I just recently ungraded to my nearfields from Yamaha's HS50's to a pair of Genelec 8040A and I'm blown away. Very accurate mids, great separation from low end. The Axe II just sounds so amazing on them. (But the Yamahas still great for the price)

Axe keeps freezing?

I've not experienced the "freeze" issue at all with my Axe II. (Knock on wood) I always leave the USB plugged in and I've yet to see this happen even once. That said, my friend's unit is setup identical to mine and his has frozen up occassionally, then is fine after a reboot. Perhaps a...

lol ok figured it out, wasn't setting the Axe Fx ID on the LFjr to 116, works now. Thank you for that info previously posted, helped allot. :)

I'm experiencing the exact same problem with my new LFjr and the Axe Fx ultra. I have the LFjr set to 116 as mentioned above, but what is the Axe fx suppose to be set to on the LFjr in the Utility menu to upload the presets? Continuously getting error on the LFjr - ER:01 00 000 , Preset #000...

I ended up picking up a TC electronic impact twin and it works great with the Ultra. Very pleased with its quality.

The Ultra arrived a few days ago and I haven't come up for air till now. I'm blown away by the versitility and the quality of this gear. I just wish I didn't wait as long as I did to pull the trigger on it. Have a bunch of questions...but for now could anyone confirm if I'm understanding...

Thank you for the feedback, its good to know no compatibilty issues with the Impact Twin. I'll be using it with firewire on a pc at first, but switching over to Mac shortly thereafter. Just waiting to see what the new Mac notebooks do to the pricing when they arrive on the market soon.

Can a Pod Pro work as the interface to record with the AxeFX

I'm looking to order the Axe FX Ultra in the next couple weeks. In the meantime, I have a Pod Pro that I use to record through the USB connection with. If I ran the Axe through the effects loop of the Pod do you think it would work for recording to the laptop? Or would I use the line in? and...
