I was wrapping my MFC-101 in Ziplock 2 gallon bags. Mostly for fear of beer being spilled, but work for rain too. It works out great. Admittedly, I'm not really a Les Paul guy. I'm more of a Fender guy, specifically Telecasters. But I thought I was overdue to get a proper Les Paul and see what the fuss is all about. This bad boy fit the bill perfectly with what I like to find in vintage guitars, not 100% original, but close...

Original samples for live covers? (legality)

Actually, it can be. At least it is here. A bar just recently stopped having bands, and I think was even shut down for a while, for not paying fees. The bands were not responsible at all, nor did they get fined. There is a system in place to cover your back, which is a good thing for us.

Reminds me of playing in bars when a good game is on TV, and all of the cheering is for the game, not the band.

Original samples for live covers? (legality)

Except that in the specific usage that the OP is doing, it's not his responsibility to obtain the rights. It falls under the licensing that most venues already pay to allow music in the first place. So it is all legal, and can be done with no worries, which is cool.

From the referenced article: "Sampling" involves taking an existing piece of copyrighted music and combining it with another to create a new work. But that's covered by the venue paying ASCAP, or BMI, the same way with a DJ. The DJ doesn't need permission for every record they play. It also applies to any intro music you use. Yes, they artist should and does get paid. But that's under the jurisdiction of the venues agreement with the...

Yep, I already did that when I was having the tuner/pedal state issue. It doesn't fix any of the noise issues with blocks engaging for a millisecond when a patch is selected. Yeah, I was having other pedal issues with initial values. That was affected by turning the tuner on and off and mentioned by a few of us in another thread. Good question, and yes. And when I go to the preset, the block is off like it should be. It's the behavior that follows that's funky.
