Like I just mentioned a post above you, you need to do it in 12 Pr mode if you want to use Scenes. If you use 4 Pr mode, you can only use them as Instant Access Buttons.

Thanks! I have been using AKG 271 MKII reference headphones, they do decent job. I used to have Yamaha HS50 monitors, but sold it because I never got a chance to use it, lol. Plus, without decent room treatment and monitor location I wasn't sure if it would really help. But maybe I should buy...

Do not buy a 7-string guitar until you have tried Music Man JPX 7. I have tried a bunch of Ibanez 7 string guitars, but Music Man JPX is something else. The only 7 string guitar that felt like playing 6 string to me! ;) You can get a used one for about $1800.

Thanks! Exactly, I looked at the picture above from the manual and thought it should work, so I went on stage without testing. Unfortunately that was not the case! I am wondering if it has to do something with the input impedance of the mixer! Impedance mismatch maybe??

Anyone using Sonar Producer?

I went through the same issue. Sonar X1 does not allow you to change the sampling rate in the middle of a project. If your project is in 44.1 Khz, you cant change it to 48 Khz to record guitar tracks using Axe FX. You have to set the project to 48 Khz before you start.

I recently bought a used Line6 G90 wireless system, and I was trying to plug it in last night to test it, but all I hear is some hiss/noise, and whenever I touch my guitar or the transmitter I hear like a small pop/static sound. I was wondering if I need to setup anything in G90. I thoght this...

Dream Theater heading back to the studios to work on their new album!

I hope Mangini gets to do all his part by himslef. The previous album seriously slacked on drums. Plus, the drums weren't as loud as it used to be.

Ground Control PRO and Mission Engineering SP1

Thanks for the reply. I understand that SP1 is a linear expression pedal, but so is the FV500 too right? So does that mean I will have the same issue if I used SP1? Was your full sweep linear? How did you check for linearity?

Ground Control PRO and Mission Engineering SP1

I was wondering if anyone here uses SP1 with Ground Control Pro? If yes, are there any known issues? Currently I am using Boss FV500 as an expression pedal, but the transition is not linear as I had expected. I was wondering if SP1 is going to do the same. Thanks

You can only have 2 different scenes using GCP. It can only send 0 and 127.

I guess that is not gonna work for Ground Control Pro users then. Looks like we are stuck with just 1 Scene with CC34. One non-related question, is there a way to mute the Axe Fx when you press "Tuner"?
