    I have room in my guitar case for that stuff so i centered my fm9 inside my case. Before installing my foam i could put the fm9, ev-2 (sideways) and cables up above the fm9. So to answer your question: no not with the foam i installed.

    I just tried this exactly. I still prefer the recto large SIC at least with my presets. I feel i like the upper mids more on the large vs the straight. I'm gonna keep trying it occasionally. What sounds weord today will probably be the perfect tone tomorrow 😁

    I should use my studio monitors more often. I always use my EV at higher volume but this week i'm gonna try my monitors. They're designed to be flat around 85db so it should be enough volume to get a decent sound that translates in a band.

    5153 50w Blue Presence

    I could be wrong but i'm pretty sure the EVH lineup of amps don't have the goofy presence taper. I thought it was the Peavey 5150's/6505's that don't do much until 8 and up on the dial. I have an fm9 so i haven't gotten any of the newer updates so disregard if incorrect.

    Tonight i A B'ed some single shot Ir's. I tried sm57 and md421 alone and blended. Hard to say which i like more but i prefer them blended. I feel like depending on the day i'd probably change my mind on which mic i like more 😄.

    I use this exact combo and really enjoy it. Seems to cut very well and have a pleasant full sound. I much prefer it to the 57/121 mix. I personally think the 121 combo has to much low mids but everyone is different.

    I bought the 2 inch. I also cut mine so none of the buttons would depress. I personally don't think 1.5 inch would be enough but thats my opinion.
