    For sure! I found myself sweating bullets working the Gretsch! It has been one of the fussiest guitars I have ever owned!     This is a stupid question about FM9 EQ.

    For this I use the cab block to cut highs and lows with reference to using an FRFR cab. Pre and post EQ with respect to the amp block could apply but personally I like to use that surgically when sculpting a tone.

    There are a few issues that I can think of running a passthrough. 1, a lot of connector mass hanging off of the punch plate, 2 not having the wiring dressed down point to point. Maybe not a huge deal but it does make a difference especially if you are moving the board a lot.
