    Power Amps for AX8 Live

    + 1 on the Fryette Power Station. I run it the same way as blackmoreguitar with the AX8. It's got a GREAT (mono) 50 watt tube power amp in it, that to my ears sounds better than the Matrix, plus it acts as a load box for use with real amps. A win win for those of us that live in both worlds.

    JB70: yes! Totally needed to increase the high end at the gig last night. I think the approach for tonight may be more amp presence with a some top end cut on the Drive blocks to keep the fizz in check. Enjoying the BB model the most, with the SDD as an 'edge of breakup' tone with a strat.

    I should also add that the Axe 2 screen flickers strangely before the weird delay kicks in. Again, all these issues disappear and the Axe works flawlessly when using the analog outs rather than USB audio.
