so is that in the axe edit ? i tried looking around that for inside the tempo setting but it doesn't have an option for that I can se it has all the usual LFO, External etc. but I just wnat it to see midi channel 14. I know its something simple I'm getting wrong. But I'm not great midi expert...

I got it going with MIDI and bought a 9v AC adapter., each program change tho its really slow to change and has a staggered sound as it clicks into the preset, but its good enough for a backup in an emergency . thanks forum for the help

The MFC quick start says on " AXEFX- ANY" set MFC port to Ethernet and now in the Axefx Manual it says the MFC port control is only on the XL..? so Im completely confused now.. even the manuals contradict each other.. arghh :/

Echoplex preamp in signal chain as preamp

ill look at the SSD, i grabbed my axefx from the lockup and tried the Echoplex cab block and it does what it says. It warms it up and adds a nice kinda compression almost. I'll be safe to suggest it to the guys now in the show and see if it warms up some patches. Now just have to update theirs...

Best Power Amp

If your a gigging player then ask some pro sound engineer friends what's their best option for power amps. Running FRFR is the same and running your own PA on stage so ask guys that build and set up and design PA installs for a living . You might find a great audio amp that suits

With the Fuzz in the front it really burbles and chirps on my les paul. its well on that total saturation point, and the notes cascade into one another compresin and almost bottoming out.. :) I wish I had a foot controller as Id love to be able to flip the fuzz on and off on the fly while i try it.

Which amps in the Axe FX do you feel nail the original?

i think with the time taken the Tweed Deluxe matched with a good IR cab compleyely nails the tone and for such a simple few knob and single speaker amp so many sims and clones get it wrong and try to make it too perfect. Tweeds have flutter notes and almost fuzz out when pushed. The axefx Tweed...

I do own a pretty amazing pair of 1959 celestion alnico silverback speakers the very original Guitar speaker that was the midpoint between the radiogram speaker and the first G12 so Im keen to try do my first IR capture on those this week. I'll definitely share if it works. There amazing 10 watt...

I got a Tweed deluxe tone I havent heard excpet for playing an old 50's tweed in CowTown guitars in vegas and hearing someones tweed amps side of stage at some music festival and some killer live neil young stuff . it was so on the money I must have sat for 3-4 hours feeling like the kid from...

Had my Axefx2 for a year and....

In saying the above I have my own amp being designed at the moment buy my Tech partner with a "power-amp in" on the front just for the axefx so i can run it as a tube power-amp if i ever go down that road and want tubes and technology together. Cant be bad to keep my options open.
