Mike Ness Social Distortion 65 Bassman +Cab

This is my take on the Mike Ness fender setup.

My Take on Mike Ness Social Distortion Tone ., A hotted 65 Bassman running into a marshall cab. Tho I have i used the wellspring Basketweave Green 4x12 Mix - n, and a wellspring Bassman 4x10 Mix - n to achieve the closest I could get as to Mikes marshall 4x10 cab.
I made this using my Les Paul Goldtop with P90's as a reference so its as close as I could to his exact rig..

You can swap the cabs with the FAS Basket weave mix and a bassman 410. Im sure it will be still pretty close..
It also has Mikes faithful Boss SD-1 in the chain for boosted solos and pushing the amp harder..

I did all the testing with my les paul withHot P90s so you may need to tweak eq if going to a Humbucker as the different in attack and mid range is huge. But the overall gain structure and how the amps running hot i believe nails that hot rodded Bassman he has. He does use the 4x10 marshall but Ive tried to emulate with a mix of cabs to get something close.
