Is the Big Hair amp based on the ADA MP1???

I too and am ex ADA user. I had both the MP1 and the MP2 and the difference was night and day. IMO MP2 smoked the MP1 , especially when you get into trying different the pre-amp tubes. Plus the MP2 had a built in cab simulator. Not much, but enough to give you a couple options when running...

Alternative Foot Controller

In my opinion you can't go wrong with the Roland FC100 or FC200 & FC300 with built-in expression pedals. They can take abuse of some hard stomping. They're easy to set up and you can use the CTRL pedal to turn on the tuner. A little pricey for the 200 & 300 but well worth it. I have a 200...

Quantum 2.00 & Axe Edit Crashing ?

Win 7 32 Bit. Never had this problem until I updated yesterday. Reboot of everything didn't help. But later in the day it didn't crash once.

.Fractal's USB drivers haven't been updated since June 2014. I guess it's worth a shot to uninstall & reinstall.

Quantum 2.00 & Axe Edit Crashing ?

Just updated my Axe FX II to Quantum 2.00 & Axe Edit 3.5.0. I've had some crashes when switching presets via Axe Edit. The Axe FX II also locks up as well & I have to cycle power to bring it back. Anyone else experience this?

Double tracked guitar trick

I'm digging this thread a lot even though there's multiple past threads about the same topic. I ended up sticking with one amp block into a stereo cab block. I use two different cabs and hard pan them. Then finally put the enhancer block at the end. It seems to really come alive this way.

MIDI Patch Changes Slow?

I had the same problem. I thought it was my FC-200. I ended up switching scenes within presets and it's instantaneous switching now.

Nylon sim would be fantastic! I saw Chris Broderick do it live a couple years ago. The weird thing it I didn't see a pedal board on stage. Backstage magic perhaps?

I discovered that I get the error whether or not the Axe Fx is connected. I verfied that my Axe Fx works with a laptop that I set up at the same time as my PC so it can't be an issue with the Axe Fx, right? It did work on my PC before these errors appeared. Any helpgettting this resolved would...

I'm having the exact same problem as well. Tried unistalling USB driver & Axe Edit, rebooted then re-installing. Still no luck. I'm on a PC running XP Home. Anyone know a fix for this?
