I wouldn't put it that way. 🙂 Even if you're just getting the less mid focused frequency curve of the Neve preamp without the other factors that make up its special sauce, that's still huge, since the frequency curve is all an IR is! And of course you could add so many flavors of mic preamp nonlinear happiness in the cab block too.
 
I'm not getting Dynamic 2 or the new cabs. I've tried to upload the Dynacabs from Beta 10 installer several times but to no avail.

Is this the patch you were using in the Axe Fx iii with your outboard pedalboard but with the old IRs pre Dyna Cab?

Correct, same amp settings as before, just swapped in the new DynaCab’s.

Didn't see an answer for you. I could've missed it and apologize for the redundancy if I did. But yes, I believe that is the latest, and is what mine is showing. I did have to uninstall the previous version because i had two versions installed and was confused about why I couldn't drag and drop the Dynacab syx. IF this isn't the newest, I do apologize. It's what shows in the my version.

without the harmonics etc it just a basic eq push/curve…it doesn t matter if its api, neve or smth else.
 
I don't usually get on these new firmware threads and proclaim how great and glorious the latest version sounds, but I gotta say, I'm messing with a PVH 6160+ Lead preset and I'm comparing my results with Dyna-Cab vs. the best IR's in my collection and my Revv Generator 120 Mk III (which actually sounds pretty great too) and this thing sounds 'effing fierce man. If I had this tone when I was a teenager, I would have redefined metal and I'd be a millionaire right now.
