Played around a bit today. Everything is awesome. It seems like the release of the 3 has motivated FAS to step up their game and the new Axe Edit is showing major potential.
How do I see these levels and real time EQ and stuff?
On my mac, it still saying disconnected, any ideas?

That’s the new client server architecture.I love how quick the interface tracks parameter changes.
If I change a knob parameter in the Axe-Fx III, it tracks with very little latency in Axe-Edit. Excellent.
He’s baaaack... probably with a snootful of meds. Hopefully comfortable. That’s the new client server architecture.

Interesting, so taking up more cpu with blocks will slow down the usb communications?Had a decent sized patch 80% cpu setting it up last night and it was lagging up to 5-6 seconds on everything, knob turns, saving everything.

Did you do the ver 1.06 usb firmware upgrade ?It appears so. The front panel on the unit was fine, no issues, just Axe-Edit. Could need some optimizations done to the beta to make it perform better under load.

Quick... someone start asking about future plans =)He’s baaaack... probably with a snootful of meds. Hopefully comfortable.
Yes ..it appears that , as of now, the USB is pretty sensitive to which USB dongle , hub, or cable is used with USB-C Macs and maybe which USB jack as well , not really a new thing, but potentially annoying. I’m goi g to see if I can find a single USB-C -USB-B cable to connect directly with to my Mac book Pro..Also, be sure you have latest USB firmware installed. Might also be helpful to point out that I can't get my iMac to see my Axe-Fx III with a USB cable and a USB extension cable. Only if I loose the extension cable will it see it. My Windows 10 PC is fine with or without a USB extension cable connected.
that cable works for me.Yes ..it appears that , as of now, the USB is pretty sensitive to which USB dongle , hub, or cable is used with USB-C Macs and maybe which USB jack as well , not really a new thing, but potentially annoying.
