    Mix 1 from the KW 4x12 M25-SH is my go-to. The included Jim Adkins mixes are also great. I will also mix the KW 4x12 with the Mesa 4x12 OS-V2, and it sounds fantastic. You can't go wrong with either of these packs IMO.

    To be clear, there is no difference in tone with these jacks. But the connection is legit, and does require a bit more force to insert or remove a 1/4 guitar cable. If there are issues with it being too tight, one could go in and widen the space I suppose?

    I have switched most of my guitars over to the Pure Tone jacks and have had zero issues. Yes, there is a tight fit, which is the point. I use Neutrik and G&H connectors without problems. YMMV.

    Agree that one one cables inside the unit may have come loose - it is a design issue IMO. I had this happen and was surprised at how easy the cables could come loose. I added silicon goop to the connection and haven't had an issue since.

    You can definately find a solution with the York IRs. I suggest starting with the Mesa 412 OS-v2 Mix 1 mixed with the KW 412 M25 Mix 1 and adjust to taste. Both are outstanding packs and can cover so much ground. Good luck!

    A standard (good quality) rack should not be an issue with the 2/90/2. I used one for years and the rack rails never bent, but my back didn't appreciate it at 1am after playing for 4 hours. :-/ You won't regret going with the 2/90/2 - it is fabulous with the AxeFx.

    I have custom UE-7 Pros IEMs and the Neumann NDH-30 headphones, and find the Neumanns better translate to FOH, and sound great for silent practicing. There is always risk in dialing in presets via headphones. No experience with the Ollo, but hear good things. YMMV.

    OP - What guitar, and more importantly, what pickups are you playing through? I have found to get that “crack” and weight, the pickups have to be very uncompressed/low output, such as vintage-style PAFs. I also have to add some LF resonance around 250 Hz, +2-4db, Q around 2. YMMV.
