Axe fx 2 and wireless units front vs rear input

I just ran a George L cable through one of the rack screw holes attached 90 degree end and plugged in front of Axefx. That way I can unplug anytime and plug in a regular cord if wireless acts up or signal is bad.

You are correct spx90 the Hartman is 9vdc not 18 but it does have excellent headroom despite that fact and nails the mistress tone for me.

I agree 100% gigged for many years with a Boogie 2/90 and it was an absolute beast. Also owned a VHT 2:50:2 for a few years great power amp as well but not as warm and fat as the simul class Mesa.

IMO - A-XL Extends life of the II

I agree before the Axe II came out it was quite clear that Cliff had run out of room and options with the Ultra but there is no sign of that with the II to this point. Also when I purchased my Axe II Cliff mentioned that he anticipated a life span of about ten years for that unit so I think...

Right unless just having a usb connected is the culprit. I was told by support that it won't happen again with 12.04 so I assume they are aware of issue and know the cause.

mitch, It's also worth noting that my axe-fx did this with usb cable plugged in but with no computer connected. That said I always leave my usb cable plugged in so it's easy to connect computer without reaching in back and never had an issue like this before.

So my unit just did the exact same thing for the 1st time since I've owned it which is over a year. It made a loud high pitched squeal, screen went blank but remained lit up. I shut off power turned back on after 30 seconds all seems ok and I couldn't replicate it with same patch. Thankfully...

Atomic CLR Powered Wedge: My Impressions...

Nice job on the write up lots of details. I've had my CLR's for a few months now and they really are great sounding speakers. My only cons so far are: 1. More durable finish on cabs 2. Longer power cable 3. Front power indicator light.

Lots of ?'s there TexasAxeSlinger. There are many ways to run an effective w/d/w set-up. If you want to use the Axefx II solely then you will need a separate power amp to drive the 4x12 and ohmage will depend on your power amp's speaker out setting. The cheapest route is to buy a good quality...

So I got a CLR to try

Here we go......Again. I have a pair of CLR's and I'm quite happy with them. If someone doesn't like them I couldn't give two shits they work for me and that's all that matters. Some play a Les Paul some play a Strat who cares as long as we're making music and having fun.
