Hi With 3 humbuckers the are 9 different setting for each pickup. There are hundreds of combinations. There is no way a guitar could be wired up to any switches that would do all of this. You couldn't fit that much wire in a guitar.

I don't know if it's only me but after upgrading, when I turn my AXE on and have left it on a preset with a wah block, my wah is on even though it doesn't show on. This is on the factory presets. When I go to the next preset and then back again everything is like it should be and the wah is off.

I also have the timeout errors since installing the latest firmware and fractal bot. It only seems to happen when I switch patches from axe-edit. I am sure it will get fixed soon.

I think in order to have the offset be useful, the noise gate still has to be turned on with each preset and then saved as a global block.

Does anyone wish the noise gate was a simple global setting? I have added a global noise gate setting to each of my patches so depending on which guitar I am using I can set the same threshold but it would be so much easier if the noise gate was global like Guitar Rig does.

Strange behavior in 6.02 [FIXED in 6.03]

Having problems here too. Just tried the update from 6.01 to 6.02 and tried to go from patch 170 to 171 and my axe reboots to welcome screen then nothing. I have to restart axe. Went back to 6.01 and no problems. I am also using the new factory patches and have bee for a while.

Just happened again. Just switching presets , the screen goes blank for a few seconds then the opening screen that says Quantum comes up and locks the AXE up. I can't always make it happen but it might be axe edit which I also updated.

If this was any other big company you would have been weeks before you heard anything back and then you would have had to ship your box back to them and maybe you would get it back 3 months later. I am new to Fractal this year but I am amazed at the great and immediate service.

Thanks for another update. Honestly, If there were no other updates ever I would still be happy for many years. I have had my AXE for 4 months and feel like I haven't scratched to surface. I have yet to find an unusable preset and whenever I find a favorite sound, it is only for a couple of days...

Is there any chance of this being added?

Also on my AXE Edit wish list would be to be able to assign colors to presets like I can do with cabinets. It would be cool to be able to make a quick list view of lead, crunch , clean , and so on.

Is there any chance of this being added?

I know this has been mentioned before but I would like to be able to open the preset window and move it to a different part of the screen so it would stay open and I could still work on the axe edit block page. Is this something everyone wants? The same for the cabinet page would be great too...

That explains everything. It should say controller 1 and 2 instead shouldn't it?

Thanks, the page you show makes sense . The one I don't get is when I right click on a knob and it brings up the edit modifier page. This one only shows scene 1 and scene 2.

Sorry, I forgot to mention something. I can see all 8 scene settings on the AXE but when I use Axe-edit I only see 2 available.

Scene Question

Hi I am trying to get my head around using scenes. When I choose a modifier I only see scene 1 and scene 2 as options. Shouldn't I see scene 3 - 8 available also? There are 8 scene buttons. ??

Cliff, Get rid of the older firmware modeling options to free up space!!

My 2 cents. For many years I bought gear from Roland and spent a lot of money for the newest and greatest but was lucky to get maybe 1 update and that's it. If Fractal never did another update to my AXE FX again I would still be more than happy with it. As it is, this is the closest to perfect...

I can't seem to get ANY good tones?

I play through Event 20/20 BAS monitors and my sound is better than my Carvin V3 through a 4 Celestian speaker cabinet. I think a good set of monitors will change everything. Good luck.
