    DynaCab Pack Limited Public Beta

    As a follow up, I started the stand alone and logged in, used it for a bit, logged off and went to the plugin and it seems to be working with logging in every time. Going back to the stand alone without logging in works now also. Maybe you have to log in to the stand alone first? We'll see.

    Yes, it starts fine at bootup and runs through bootup. Haven't had the whine or fan stall again, yet. Never had any chirping or crickets. Just the one fan stall/whine episode when it got pretty warm. after a couple of hours.

    I use 2 filter boosts at the end of the chain. One at 2.5 and then another 1.5 if the drummer is feeling a little too happy.

    The thing I've noticed most with 1.03 is the feel. I can really feel the sag and compression more than ever. Almost like there is a perfectly dialed in compressor on the input/output. The amps really respond. The sound and feel are just awesome. Hard to believe there is an update to this coming.

    Novel idea. I never like guitar speakers pointed at my head. That's why they get pointed at the audience instead. ;) I use Weber Beam Blocker's in my guitar cabs. For my FRFR cabs, I tilt them with an amp stand or use a wedge.

    Presets and Humbuckers vs. Single Coil

    Try playing with the trim in the AMP block. My main axe, a Les Paul Custom, also has very hot PU's and dialing down the trim on the factory PS's made me appreciate them much more. Makes it easier to dial in the drive and especially the Master.

    Everything mono. I run two mono cabs on stage. Sometimes two FRFR, somtimes a guitar cab and an FRFR monitor. It gives a nice sense of spread and space for me without the common stereo issues. Send one mono signal to FOH.
