Third-party preset or preset pack for the Axe-Fx III
Yes and there are two Archon presets in the FM3 Amps Packs bundle, that I didn't make for the Axe-Fx III yet. I'll probably add them to the Axe-Fx III "Amp Packs sampler"

Sharing with you a video of a preset I made for a customer :




This is a recreation of a preset I made for the Axe-Fx II back in 2013. The sequencer part may be too much, in the video I disconnected the block but I may delete it completely, or attach a volume controller to it

I will add it to my Synthpads & Tonematches pack soon (with approval from my customer).

The sequencer stuff is cool but I’m loving that clean sound at 0:35. Single notes, chords, it sounds great. :)
 
The Axe-Fx III versions often have more blocks, higher resolution reverb, faster switching from one scene to another, and last but not least, there are many dual amps presets, including morphing ones (morphs from clean to crunch, crunch to rhythm, rhythm to lead).
 
I often mess around withcthat u2 preset of yours. Made me even figure out some u2 stuff just to be “impressive” in a noodle part at rehearsal. A wall of sound whilst only playing simple patterns or strums... can’t beat that.
 
Question: I am looking for that Satriani sound. The live sound. The bridge pos pickup sound I am not too picky about ( I think). The effects are in this question not important either. I can copy paste that from other presets. I am just looking toget that bluesy almost single coil sound he gets with his neck pickup while still having a lot of gain. I looked in your amps pack and saw that the js amp is in one of the packs. Since I own a js1200 guitar, do you think it will give me that sound?
 
Apologies, my music computer just stopped working, and because of this I'm not following this thread as I used to... The Satriani sound is on my to-do list for the Rock & Metal II pack, even if I don't have the right guitar. Until then, and until I can get a working computer back, I can't try - I didn't even install the new 16.03 firmware, as my Axe is going through my computer for monitoring etc.
 
Do you have any idea when either the rock metal pack 2 or the blues pack will be ready? Trying to get my main presets organized in some kind of logical order but having to squeeze in some new new ones later would be…..work. Lol
 
Hey Harm ! It's hard to say. I'm not working on those these days as I badley need a break after 2+ month of updating over 1000 presets to Cygnus (Axe 3 & FM3) ; instead, I'm watching various music tutorials which I purchased, not Axe Fx-related, but which will certainly help be being better at what I do, specially studio stuff
