Sweet. The new parameters make galloping delays so much easier to tweak. The drives are sounding so good. The Xotics sound so good now.

Perspective is everything. The fact that the discussion has derailed into nostalgia for our first amps instead of every other post complaining about bugs is an indicator that this beta appears to be good to go.

I have a question about the PVH 6160 Block Crunch Model

Is the Bright Switch on the Ideal Tab...
of the PVH 6160 Block Crunch Model the same function (sound) as the Bright Button on the Reference/Original?
or it would have to be it's own separate amp model like the PVH 6160+ Crunch Bright

It's mostly for stealth when boondocking in town in my SUV. At night that MkI logo is blinding and like a beacon announcing my presence even with curtains / stealth shades. The other lights less so.

Although you can turn the AXE logo off in the setup.

Bug? On the unit, when scrolling between Multitap Delay 1 types, the screen flashes dark between many but not all types. e. g. scroll the big wheel until it is on aurora delay, then scroll back fast between types, and it "flashes" or blanks between types for a split second. much more noticeable if scrolling quickly. doesn't do this between for example the AH types.

This crunch channel is ridiculous! this is the tone I’ve been looking for. It has a slight engl nasal tone but Not too much. And when matched with the horizon precision drive and a Zilla cab it’s just out of this world.
