@FractalAudio I didn't see it mentioned that the smoothness improvements were also applied to the pitch block. Did I miss it or is that correct? I use a modifier with the virtual capo (pedal 3 FC 12mk 1 EV2) to simulate tremolo dives and in the beginning of the action it has a little gap...

Yeah, maybe it's the head room availability in the 170..? I can't imagine it's the lack of power as between both the LXII and the 700, there were only slight tonal variations at -very- low volumes. Does it happen with your 170 at levels as low as 50 to 60dB?

I can't comment on the PS170, but as far as underpowering these speakers: I have a pair of F12's and have run them parallel out of -one- side of my Fryette LXII. So only a 50w amp running two 200w speakers. This is in a smallish room (10x11) and I don't crank it much over 70 dB (max 90dB)...so...

I verified one set is NC and the other is NO. I swapped them out and they were identical in lag. And yeah they (all) performed the same in the 1+2 jack. I very much doubt it, but suppose it's worth asking: is it even remotely possible the 18 gauge wire I used is causing this? As a side note...

It may not make a massive difference, but after I did this mod to one of my guitars it indeed sounded fuller. It has more balls and chime. Without the mod it was thinner and less dynamic.

Software FracPad III - iOS/Android/Mac/Win Editor for the Axe-Fx II/XL/XL+, AX8/FX8, Axe-Fx III and FM3/FM9

I searched (extensively) but could not find how to reset an amp block channel. It seems this is either stupid easy and I'm just not seeing it...or it doesn't exist😫😂 Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻

Can anyone recommend an Android Tablet to run FracPad?

Cool thanks for the data. I looked for instructions how to root one. I only found something that said it was a temporary root...in that every time you booted/rebooted the device you'd have to reroot it as well. Is there a way around that? Can you point to a method that would work...

Hey, I'm looking at getting a tablet to run FracPad as well.... Was wondering: is rooting the FireHD (and installing a different OS) just to remove the ads? Or is the new OS needed to run FracPad?

For all the Les Paul folks out there

I may go to one of the local guitar centers to get a better/hands on idea of the differences in each unit. Probably not the best venue, but at least there's something to interact with. I had to go and draw a pick guard on a (borrowed pic from the internet) Warmoth Regal and make decisions even...

Yeah I'm sure they're great, but I don't really care for the looks. The visual styling is pretty important to me. That in no way should be misconstrued as I'm a Gibson snob. I'm one of the least pretentious you'll ever meet. I just have a very specific styling taste. Edit for clarification...

I have a 2003 Les Paul studio (bought it on eBay and like it well enough), but have been thinking about getting a standard or classic - one with binding. Regarding comments about finding "the one that speaks to you" etc, what is it that would tell you "no"? What would tell you "yes"? Not...
