Bag that can fit FM3, FC6, and some cables

I can recommend these, you can calculate the gear to see which specific one would be best for you and it comes with a full foam inside which you can cut and use as walls, etc. if you like. They are not of course hard flight cases but quite durable and with nice padding. Great for a bit lighter...

Not yet, will try those as well. I guess previously they were enough of then my audio interface dealt with the problems as it was between ax8 and my computer but now its direct from fm3. I guess the buffer size doesn't really matter if I do the monitoring through FM3 headphones out at home

weird thing, tested yesterday with same and different preset and different DAW, used Pro Tools now. USB meters in FM3 still way below max levels, DAW meters around -12/-10db, no other softwares/plugins are running actively. I am considering that I just don't know all the details in using usb...

Actually, now I understand that you meant the preset CPU and not computer, the preset has only 62-64% cpu usage when looking at it through FM3 edit.. so that can't be the cause either. I am quite strictly keeping the preset cpu below 80 always and this sound has happened with many different presets

Thanks for explaining, now I got it! Having austinbuddy's and fremen's pack plus individual stuff flying around the user cab listing a mess as keeping it organized is not that efficient. This is a good way to "start over".

Just watched a YouTube video about fractool taking in a bank file and converting that into a new bank file but with a conversion to a e.g. fx3, and after that fracbot can be used to bulk import that new bank file with presets in them. This might came handy for me and save some time

There was a dummy filling foam from which I sliced two small bars which you can see on the top and side of the ax8. The inner foam frame is by default, so I did not make that.

For me the Magma works beautifully. I have some extra room for some cables. This is not the professional gig option of course, but for quite good protection, lightweight and some room the cables and stuff this is great. Perhaps I should have gotten just a few inches bigger to have a pedal there...

What about heaphones? I started using ax8 6months ago and made sounds with my headphones and noticed that gig PA was unpleasantly different. I can use my Genelec monitors to make sounds as well but headphones would be better for maintaining peace at home. Is there some specific heaphones that...

I got instructions to erase all presets and reset the system and install everything again, but as my problems magically stopped appearing I didn’t want to reset the whole system. Sorry for not being able to tell experiences from these steps.. I had usb connected few times but had the issue...

Yes, it would a big change / possibility - but this is the wish/idea area so I thought I should give even the not so feasible ideas. As you agreed the screen might be something that the AX8 could have more easily, while being quite useful!

I was just wondering that when you swich scenes with the F2 button, wouldn't it be easier to see which scenes you have "available" in that preset? This ways you could perhaps in some visual way note that its the "scene changing UI" on the screen, and even name the scenes, like "Default", "SOLO"...

Good idea. Do you know what constitutes as a bad preset? Meaning if I just copy the parameters manually and not by importing is that okay then? So basically are bad presets bad because of importing process or their actual settings used..
