    Do you file those down? I find it's easier to play when the fingertips are tough, but smooth. Grooves/ruts in the skin and flaking calloused skin that catches on strings limits my ability to manipulate the guitar strings.

    If you are not crazy about the color of the guitar or the gold hardware you can wait it out and find one that you are crazy about. There are plenty of "steals" out there, and you can find one that fits all of your preferences.

    I installed aftermarket knob pointers from Stewmac, genuine Gibson chrome pickup covers, and different genuine Gibson knobs. I think the guitar looks much better this way!

    I prefer the look of a Les Paul with the pick guard. I think they should all come with the pick guard included in the purchase, however, I think the pick guard should be left uninstalled and the decision left up to the owner to install. Nice guitar!

    I struggled to find that tone I heard in my head all these years. I found it in the Axe FX II, with ease. I fucking love this thing! The GAS will never evaporate for guitars, but for the other stuff, I am content now.

    Very nice guitar!! I have always loved those SG's! I had a Gibson SG Special a long time ago but I gave it to my daughter. I have a beat up LTD AX400 that is set up for 1 1/2 step down tuning. I play Sabbath on that one - when the mood for playing some Sabbath strikes. :encouragement:
