Hmm, is tweaking different from experimenting? I have my core set of sounds that I rarely change, but I'm CONSTANTLY concocting new sounds, trying amp + cab + mic combos, etc. I love messing around with sound (it's one of the reasons I like the Axe-Fx so much).

Another Massive Thumbs Up For The Ownhammer Marshall IR Pack

Grats and welcome! I'm also new (to the forums and Axe). My Ibby has an aftermarket piezo system, and I run the cables in the same manner... mags to the front, and piezos to the rear. Not sure if this is standard, but seems to work :D I love the tuner too. Enjoy!

All of a sudden I love my treble pickup in my Tele and strat.

Absolutely. I was about to pull the new pups I put in my guitar because I'd decided they didn't sound very good. I was playing through a POD HD Pro back then. Enter the Axe-Fx II. Suddenly, I love the pickups and have actually ordered another set for one of my other guitars. Funny how that works.
