Pardon? And no one win11 of them
Is this last possible without the backup step? If so how? Those in the USA still on Win10 can arrange for another year of free security updates by jumping through a few hoops:
Make a microsoft account if you don't have one. If you have an xbox account, use that, or if you use OneDrive, that works.
If you've got an account on the Win10 machine linked to that microsoft account, login. This needs to be an admin account, so if you've changed that change it back. If you don't have a linked admin account, make one and login.
Run "Windows Backup" (type in search box). Allow it to "back up this pc".
Go to the following web page. I doubt I'm able to post links, so add two periods for the two spaces.
www microsoft com/en-us/windows/end-of-support?r=1
Make sure the "Windows 10" tab is selected near the top of that page, then search for "Get extended security updates". It in the "Not Ready for a new PC" section. Click that link.
If at all works, Windows Update should no longer gripe about no more security updates. I did this on two old machines this weekend.
Judging by my interactions with Windows 11, I think MS has engineers using “vibe coding”..Imagine when AI is writing most of the code. No one will know or understand anything about it.
Did you see the recently announced a1200? With workbench, keyboard, mouse, USB and hdmiI miss NeXTSTEP, the Amiga and BeOS.
Same here with FXIII Editor with Win11 it was a surprise for me that it wasn't mentioned by someone else till now.By the way, after I switched from 10 to 11, the brakes appeared in the editor, so to speak.Well, it's not that it bothers me, but I noticed it anyway. The problem is this: if I play games or log in to the browser for 20-30 minutes, then after exiting the game or browser, the fm3 editor lags a little-freezes for 3-5 seconds, the handles do not turn and then comes to life.I don't remember this happening at 10.I have a powerful new computer.
The solution is to become Amish. Sometimes I think they've got it figured out.
I never tried without running Windows Backup. You could try, or unselect everything you can to avoid sending MSoft data.Is this last possible without the backup step? If so how?
I'm guessing that it's the usual "always back up" advice. Is this last possible without the backup step? If so how?
Not to the m$oft cloud preferably.I'm guessing that it's the usual "always back up" advice.
Why not? They already own your left nut and half of your ass.Not to the m$oft cloud preferably.

Being an engineer doesn’t automatically make you an expert in UI (User Interface), GUI (Graphical User Interface), or UX (User Experience) design. These fields require specialized skills distinct from engineering expertise.Over 100K engineers and this is the best you can do? What a joke.
True, But having 100,000 engineers means you can probably scare up a few good human-interface engineers for your most visible and deployed product.Being an engineer doesn’t automatically make you an expert in UI (User Interface), GUI (Graphical User Interface), or UX (User Experience) design. t al, I have a lot invested in Windows and am forced to use it for
Requiring secure boot and TPM crap is the most maddening part. I’ve got family PCs here that are just fine for the wife and kids, but aren’t on new enough motherboards to be “Windows 11 compatible”.
So what am I supposed to do? Throw out perfectly good MoBos and update them so we don’t fall behind on OS patches?
F’ing dumb.
