i really want to track down a red bean, J Station and a few other early modellers and do either a shootout or a "history of modelling" style vid. Still have a Zoom 707 which is horrendous!
Yikes.. mine lasted less than 24 hrs before I returned it. .pre "axe" days..Somewhere in my bags I have a vAmp that I would consider a backup. Played it a few years ago...didn't get more than 2 presets in before going 'yuck'.
But hey, it's there in case the zombies eat my Axe III during a gig.
I had a BR1600CD as my first recording rig. loved it at the time but looking back it left a bit to be desired.Don't talk to me about horrendous until you've sampled the amp sims in the Boss BR-532 recorder.

I still have a Zentera combo. It was a great sounding amp for the time. Too bad H & K just abandoned them. Anyone know who was doing the coding for them?Hughes & Kettner Zentera was my main amp for many years.
Cool!Toured 15 years ago with maiden and Adrian had a Johnson j to jam backstage and write. Didn’t sound all that bad
Wow, are you me? My highschool band used that thing and I remember being so excited about the quality of our recordings at the time. Absolute nightmare going back and listening to them now, but that device is entirely why I got into recording (and ultimately Fractal) so I can't be too mad!Don't talk to me about horrendous until you've sampled the amp sims in the Boss BR-532 recorder.

OMG I absolutely adored my BR532. Then I got the 864. Now, well, I use Logic but man, those were fun machines! Recorded so many albums on thoseDon't talk to me about horrendous until you've sampled the amp sims in the Boss BR-532 recorder.
