Just my band name, No Politics. It gave me an error that went away when I took the name out. Weird.Nope. We don’t have a word censor list. Was it a URL you were trying to post maybe?

So "No Politics" is the name of your band? It's showing up in your posts, so not sure what you mean.Just my band name, No Politics. It gave me an error that went away when I took the name out. Weird.
Welcome!Allow me to introduce... myself.
Just picked up my Fractal FM9 and I’m beyond excited to dive in! I’m especially looking forward to setting up the setlist function for my live gigs. My band plays mostly 80’s pop rock covers, and I play lead guitar on a Fender Strat HSS 70th Anniversary Amethyst... love that thing.
This is my first real step into the modeler world, and I can't wait to start building tones, dialing in scenes, and getting everything show-ready. Looking forward to learning from all of you and being part of the Fractal family!
See you around, and see you on stage!

Welcome, @decemberhunting!Hey folks. My name's Noah and I'm a bedroom musician in NYC.
I make strange post-rock with strange influence points. I also write a strange musician interview blog.
I'm switching over to using an FM3 in hopes that it'll be my setup solution for both guitar and bass. Right now my approach to tone is basically 'just give me a clean tone and a cab sim with resonance/presence.' I use a low-gain morningglory on my guitar and mostly just preamp+DI my bass. I have no idea how I'll interact with the ridiculous range of cab/cab-combination/cab-mic choices I'm about to have with the FM3.
I'm curiously, confusedly apprehensive about the idea that I could sell all the pedals I own. It feels ridiculous but also .. it just makes more sense the more I think about it?
Hope some of y'all are future friends. Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome!!Welcome, @decemberhunting!
It’s not at all unusual to contemplate selling off pedals, amps and more. Many of us have done it. I still have a few pedals I keep around, mainly for nostalgia purposes. But my playing is pretty much all Fractal, as it has been for 15+ years.
Just don’t sell off a pedal until you’re comfortable that you’ve covered it in your FM3. You’ll know when that is.![]()
Greetings back at you from Canada Mark! I made the move a few months ago coming from tube amps, highly recommended! The forums and resources are the best tooHello everybody.
I do not own a Fractal yet but it's in my plans to get one for my rack. I'm a tube guy and probably forever will be, but the Fractal's FX offering is very attractive to me even if it's to be used just as an FX processor to complement my other rack FX units. Of course I would also enjoy the versatility of the preamp models to complement my setup for more particular/specific tones that are not as easy to dial-in on my amps.
Greetings from Canada!

Same... Since 2013.It’s not at all unusual to contemplate selling off pedals, amps and more. Many of us have done it. I still have a few pedals I keep around, mainly for nostalgia purposes. But my playing is pretty much all Fractal, as it has been for 15+ years.
I've tried a few cheap modellers and just never really loved the sounds so I'm hoping I'll grow into the FM9.
