HELP - Axe FX is killing my tone

I use the 4CM for my Fractal Axe FX 3 Mk. 2. When I was playing yesterday, I heard a pop, and since then I’ve had lower volume and worse dynamics/gain. There is also a high pitched squeal. When the FX loop is bypassed, everything is normal. When I activate the FX loop but with nothing in the loop, I get the same tone/sound as when it is bypassed…in other words: normal.

The cables are fine. Tubes are fine. I have not yet updated the software to its latest version.

The setup is correct, I have been using it (unchanged) for the last couple of months. Hell, last week I played non-stop.
 
Anytime I hear noise I clean the connections. D5 Deoxit works great. Spray it on the plugs and run them in and out of the jacks a few times.
 
If you heard a pop then something failed. A forum is not the place where you're going to find a solution for that. You need to contact support and arrange to have the unit serviced.
