FM3 Firmware Version 9.00 public beta 2

My old presets sound more open and realistic. It seems to me that the mids stand out better. I struggle less with too much bass on the neck pickup of the Stratocaster. Pinch harmonics come out better. The interplay with the drives sounds much more authentic because the mids stand out better. And the FAS Stealth Blue is awesome. The Mr. Bungle/Scott Ian signature amp :)
It's hard to believe that you can buy a device that is constantly being developed and gets better and better.

I just updated my FM3T to 9.0b2, tried the FAS Stealth Blue and it sounds awesome! Apart from the Engl Savage, it's perhaps the only amp model I've tried so far that I actually prefer without a boost. Now I'm really hoping for an FAS Stealth Red ;-)

I also have to say that my usual complaint that the FAS modeling sounds too muffled is now a thing of the past. The last few firmware updates have - at least that's my impression - pulled the blanket off the speaker.

Incredible update! This is the first time I'm satisfied with the sound of an unboosted Recto. I was always avoiding these amps, since I couldn't get that 2000s rock sounds from my favorite records.
The balance between low-end and sizzle is now perfect and I can use a lot more different cabs and get a good result.

Is this the result of all the new "artifacts"?

With full reset I always need to review notes or screenshots to make sure I have previous settings. :confused:

Do you need to do any of the above in addition to using SETUP > Utilities > Preset > Upgrade All Presets?

I am getting a transfer error on Dyna load. I "think" I was on non beta. How can i check , fix this ?

Are you using the very latest FM3 Edit? Load up a blank preset and then push the Dynacabs into the FM3 again. Then RANF!
