Sounds great Jon as always. I adopted your methods using the slate plugs on drums and no question that they pop more and sit better in the mix. There is a crispness I like I couldn't get before. On programming drums, I have never been able to get mine to sound "real" without using loops. You make it sound so easy. Fabulous work.

Good question!
I still think the JS mix is a great mix to get huge tones.
However, lately I've been using the quickstart OH-1 and OH-2 or PROG mixes because they sound so damn good!

Actually already shot those and have that whole group wrapped up and done. Will be part of the HHC2.
