🔥Introducing the new AM4 Amp Modeler

Don't know if that would make much sense. CPU is used either way. And a standalone Cab block allows for more flexibility. It makes sense though for the AM4.

But if the AM4 amp block has 4-channels (and each channel can remember it's own CAB), that would save me a lot of hassle - compared to having to setup controllers , per-presets, scenes, etc. But only if the amp channels are keeping track of the cab that is. It'd make my life easier.

Agreed. If it fits your workflow and needs, Amp/Cab in the AM4 is easier to manage.

Wow, that looks amazing guys. So, technically speaking, I can replicate my amp sounds which I use on AxeFXIII (single amp, dual dyna-cabs)? Are all the parameters available in AM4?

Heck, it looks like it's time to sell my Tonex and a few other things (that I've been dragging around as a backup to my FM9).
Same here, I have this close to brandnew Schecter Solo Custom II standing and gathering dust since 2021..."our separation is nigh" 🤣🤣

Thinking about selling my AFX3 for this. Lately I tend to use a few effects and pair the AXEFX with ToneX pedal. This could be a great tool, a lot more convenient for my desk organizing :)
Only thing that’s important for me is that I have the AF3 because it clearly offer better anti aliasing compared to FM3 and with a treble booster in front of the unit, that’s making an audible difference. If AM4 is AF3 level it’s perfect but if it’s FM3 level… that would be a huge disappointment in my case.

I don't believe that to be so. It might be related to variable input impedance vs fixed input impedance though.

If anyone wants to know the size of AM4 next to VP4 it's roughly 20 inches which is just about the same size of FM9.

Only effects: yes. You have 4 blocks for that (plus Gate and EQ).
So I can use this in the effects loop of my amp for reverb and delays (not 4 cable method) and change presets to also use it in case my amp goes down or, I can choose to go direct for a more silent stage gig with one pedalboard? I like the VP4 but would still have to carry something for backup.
