    U2 delays...

Settings for the Edge's delays vary from song to song, but the dotted 1/8th delay is a common setting. For "Where the Streets Have No Name," I use two mono delay blocks, post-cab. IIRC, one of the blocks is set to tempo 1/8dot with feedback enough to get two solid echos and volume set to...

    The Big FRFR Shootout

Yes, but that's my point: the quality that most stood out about the FBT-12ma's playing the recorded music was bass response. The significance of such response when reproducing a recording of a full ensemble is a different consideration than when reproducing only the signal from a single...

    The Big FRFR Shootout

Weeeeeeelllll...no, that wouldn't quite be unanimous. What was unanimous was that we preferred the FBT-12ma's rendering of the recorded track played back from your playback device. I don't know whether it added or omitted frequencies. It had a big bass sound, and I like big bass sounds, but...

Atomic Reactor FR vs Verve 12ma

Neither sounded better than the other, nor better than the QSC-K10's or the FBT-8mas. We heard no sonic variances among the speakers that wouldn't have been cancelled out by quick tweaks to the test patches. I thought my Atomics felt less stiff, but I was the only one who seemed to think so...

It also wasn't our intent to evaluate these speakers and pick a "winner." Can this be done with CC messages? (Wah/Whammy)

Ehh...I don't think so. I have a GCP, and to my knowledge, it can't send two commands from one IA switch, and it can't do a "step-through" program a la the Liquid-Foot products. Without both of these features, there's no way to get the three possible states that trouble311 wants. I think...

Yes, you can override IA switches on a per-preset basis. You can also re-program the CC# of an expression pedal on the fly, so that you can have one expression pedal do duty controlling Volume, Wah, and any other continuous control item. That's the short answer. Getting this stuff working...
