    Not necessarily wrong - audio taper on volume is really up your preference - do you want it to clean up fast from 10-8 then choose an audio taper, otherwise linear.

    I use the attached preset for Vai'sh stuff - I copied the detune pitch block trick from the Petrucci Rig preset. Main is scene 2, scene 1 is sort of usable for leads - I forget what I was trying to do in the other scenes (this preset has survived various fw updates).
