What are the converters in the AM-4?

Yep, I doubt you could hear or even feel 5 ms, really. In just about every hearing test I've done, even ones where you can play both the randomized control and delayed samples over and over at will, 10 ms is about as tight as I can hear sometimes but not reliably, and again that's under perfect...

What are the converters in the AM-4?

Well according to TGP that's way too long and I can easily hear that huge gap. Also I can also throw a football over them mountains. And yes I stand at least like 8 feet from my cab, 2 feet from a monitor, and about 15 feet from the PA speaker when I play, why do you ask?

What would the new-gen even have that the current gen doesn’t?

I agree they can be useful in certain scenarios, but I think Global Channels would completely change the entire workflow of the Axe-Fx, and for the better. Imagine having a solid library of your favorite 15-20 amp block channels dialed in and always ready to go, which you could name yourself...

No, I'm accounting for that. You might get some small changes in noise floor or whatever at the extreme ends of the knobs but the tone of the patch itself won't change by any significant degree. The OP says the tone "weakens" as he turns down the Output specifically in terms of the amount of...

So there are different parts of a modeled tube amp rig that need to be enabled or disabled depending on what you're doing. The reason the Dual Recto model does that is because the Dual Recto's preamp is designed to be used with a Recto poweramp, or in other words a poweramp with no negative feedback.
